Tavan Shah, started his musical journey at age 5, he trained in Indian classical voice and harmonium for a decade. He then ventured into piano, achieving distinctions in just two years. Tavan’s talents were recognized in 2015 when he won the Blossom Mendonca prize. He continued to shine internationally, performing in Manchester in 2016 and receiving piano lessons from Dr. Leslie Howard in London.
Tavan’s skills earned him a full scholarship from Apple to study at AR Rahman’s KM Music Conservatory. He completed his course with distinctions in 2021, winning awards and competitions along the way. Tavan pursued a Master’s in piano performance at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, graduating in 2022.
Today, Tavan shares his musical expertise as a teacher, accompanist, and performer with the Mehli Mehta Music Foundation.
