Tanusree completed her Master’s in Economics and her Licentiate in Music. She ultimately chose to pursue a career in Music, and joined the Calcutta School of Music in 1972, teaching piano to her young students. Over the years, Tanusree rose to become the Principal of the school, from 1997 till 2006. She joined MMMF’s piano faculty in 2008.
