Monaz comes from a diverse corporate background. Post her MBA, she started her career in Advertising and then moved over to radio as a radio jockey. Eventually she started the training program for other RJs as well and went on to set up radio stations across Maharashtra and Gujarat. She has been a recognized voiceover artist and has also worked in television.

Monaz started singing at the age of 5 and has been associated with music and children throughout her life and has brought this love of music to the Mehli Mehta Music Foundation.
