Kanupriya holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from H.R. College of Commerce and Economics, along with a Post Graduate Degree in Business Management from Xavier’s College of Management, Mumbai. She has been learning and performing Indian Music since her early school years and started formal training in Indian Classical Music at the Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan, Mumbai for her ‘Sangeet Visharad’ Degree, more than 9 years ago.
