Kahan joined the Mehli Mehta Music Foundation’s Discover Music programme in 2004 and is one of the first students of the Foundation to train as an early music educator! He has trained as a classical pianist at the Mehli Mehta Music Foundation since 2007 and has been a ballet dancer for 11 years. He has sung in the Foundation’s Singing Tree Choirs between the ages of 6 and 16. He has accompanied over 220 choristers of the Singing Tree Choirs in the 2017 annual Choral Concert. He also plays the drums and the guitar. His passions include music composition and football. He has performed at the Blue Frog (solo piano and voice), at Café Zoe with other bands for a fund-raising event, and at various other events. Kahan enjoys working as an early music assistant teacher with young children at the Mehli Mehta Music Foundation and will pursue a career in music.
