Gopal is a violin tutor with a passion for the instrument as well as a natural ability for teaching. Having started learning the violin at the age of 15, he credits his teachers Ivo Sedlacek and Joseph Pinto for shaping his skills and perspective.

Gopal is an eager learner and has taken every opportunity to attend international workshops such as the violin and string ensemble workshop in Munich in October 2007 and the teacher training program at the Goethe Institute and Hochschule fur Musik, Wurzburg, Germany in January 2010.

He has to his credit a Distinction in the ABRSM Instrumental Teaching Diploma (Nov 2009), Distinction in ABRSM grade 8 violin Practical (Nov 2006), Distinction in ABRSM grade 5 theory of music (Nov 2005).
